Introduction

PSPICE is an electronic simulation software used to analyze, design and test electrical and electronic circuits without having to physically build them.

PSPICE allows engineers, students, and designers to:

Verify the operation of a circuit before its practical implementation.

Analyze electrical signals (voltage, current, power, frequency, etc.).

Test the behavior of components (resistors, diodes, transistors, amplifiers, integrated circuits, etc.).

Optimize circuit performance by adjusting component values.

The PSPICE simulation tool is now part of Cadence. We will therefore download the trial version of Cadence Allegro to use PSPICE.

The first step is to visit the Cadence website; link.

Once on the Cadence website, click on Free Trial:

Once your account is created, you will be prompted to download PSPICE:

Once the software is downloaded, we can begin the installation:

We accept the usage rights for the PSpice software:

Log in to your previously created account on the PSPICE website:

The installation is now complete; you can launch the software:

Log in to your account a second time from the PSPICE software:
