Introduction

LTspice is an electronic circuit simulation software developed by Linear Technology, now part of Analog Devices. It is completely free and widely used by engineers, students, and electronics enthusiasts to analyze, test, and understand the behavior of analog and mixed-signal circuits.

LTspice is based on the SPICE (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis) simulation engine, an industry standard used for decades.

This engine allows the modeling of real components — resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, operational amplifiers, etc. — and the prediction of their electrical behavior before any physical realization of the circuit.

The software offers a simple and lightweight graphical interface that allows you to:
